UIRD.IN PROPOSED TRAINING CALENDAR 2022-23
The Uttarakhand Institute of Rural Development & Panchayati Raj is an educational institution which was established in 2000 by the Government of Uttarakhand to achieve a Indian government goal of promoting rural development and strengthening the Panchayati Raj system in the state.
Role of UIRDP
The UIRDP is play very important role in in ruler and urban area to offers a variety of training and capacity building programs for officials and elected representatives of Panchayats (village-level self-government bodies) and other rural development organizations. Under UIRDP programs which cover many important and necessary topics such as rural development, Panchayati Raj, community development, and good governance. Now a day government Institute connected to many organization and also conducts research and provides consultancy services to various government departments and organizations working in the field of rural development.
The UIRDP has facilities with a well-equipped library, updated new computer lab, and many other facilities which are support the academic and research activities of the Institute to give new height to the organization day by day. UIRD organization has a strong and newly system network of resource persons, experts in many field and institutions working in the field of rural development and Panchayati Raj.
Function of UIRD
The UIRDP academic has many running program includes 2 years Postgraduate Diploma in Rural Development and Panchayati Raj (PGDRDPR) . which is approved by the Uttarakhand Technical University. The Uttarakhand government program aims is to providing smart learning with an in-depth understanding of the concepts, principles, and practices of rural development and Panchayati Raj, as well as developing their analytical, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
UIRD has an addition to its academic and training programs, this organization also engages in various extension activities to promote rural development and the Panchayati Raj system in the state. These activities include organizing seminars, workshops, and other events to disseminate information and knowledge about rural development and Panchayati Raj, as well as providing technical assistance and support to Panchayats and other rural development organizations.
The UIRDP is committed to promoting sustainable and smooth rural development in Uttarakhand, and to strengthening the Panchayati Raj system as an effective instrument for empowering and engaging the rural communities. With its academic and training programs, research and consultancy services, and outreach and extension activities, the UIRDP is making a significant contribution to the overall development of rural Uttarakhand.
