The Maharashtra State Board of Secondary and Higher Secondary Education (MSBSHSE) is all set to announce the Class 12 HSC exam results for the academic year 2024. As per the official announcement, the results will be declared on May 21, 2024, at 1:00 PM. Students who appeared for the HSC exams can check their scorecards on the official websites – mahahsscboard.in and mahresult.nic.in.

The MSBSHSE Class 12 exams were conducted between February 21 and March 19, 2024, in the offline mode. To access their results, students need to enter their correct registration number or roll number along with the password on the official website. Last year, the board declared the Maharashtra HSC result 2023 on May 25 at 2 PM for the exams conducted between February 21 and March 20, 2023.
A total of 15,13,909 candidates have registered for the HSC examination in the state this year, including 8,21,450 boys and 6,92,424 girls. Among the streams, the science stream has the highest number of candidates with 7,60,046 students, followed by 3,81,982 students in the Arts stream and 3,29,905 candidates in the Commerce stream. In the previous year’s Maharashtra HSC exams, the Konkan district recorded the highest pass percentage with 96.01% students passing from that region alone.
To pass the Maharashtra Board HSC exam 2024, students will need to secure a minimum of 33% marks in each subject and in aggregate. The examination was conducted at 3,320 centers, with 1.80 lakh people engaged in conducting the examination.
